The Speck CandyShell has a rubber lay on the table lip, camera cutout which might affect the flash, but does not affect the flash with my BatWing Black or NightShade Purple case on the iPhone 4 at all because the cases are darker colors, rubber buttons for the volume buttons and Sleep/Wake button which are very responsive, a cutout for the headphone jack which is miniscule that some headphone jacks might not fit, with the same cutout for the secondary microphone, a cutout for the speakers and dock connector, and rubber on the inside with holes punched in for shock absorption and heat absorption.  The case adds a slight ammout of bulk, but not too bad.  With a rubber lay on the table, there are reinforced rubber corners to absorb shock.

Pros:                                                                                                                           Cons:
Protective                                                                                         Minor scuffing
